Negative start - 4 hour wait to be seen by a doctor and no care/advice given during those 4 hours. We called 111 prior and was given an appointment however was made aware this appointment did not exist! Once on the ward - care was lovely, staff were helpful.

For special needs kids separate rooms would be big help as sometimes its very difficult to manage them.

Great ward for children. The staff are so good. Dealing with the children and their needs. Only thing I would say to improve on would be communication with the days to night shift. We were told one treatment and nights said it wasn't handed over etc.

Wait too long. Two hours before pre-assessment. No chairs to sit. Three hours since arrival. Still not seen by a doctor despite being quite an hour early.
